One of the nice things about Crysis is that you can easily go through the game punching everything, except for a couple particular scripted sequences in which you must shoot at things to progress. It's a game with a lot of options as to how you can approach challenges - one of the solutions of which happens to be hitting things with your super-powered fists, and throwing people off of cliffs. If you're going to take the punch-only challenge, set aside some extra time - you're going to have to be very patient and stealthy to make it work properly.
Set whatever difficulty you like before attempting this - it's more fun on Delta, but you can still get some challenge out of it on the easier difficulties. It'll be more fun if you try this after you've beaten the game already, so you have a better sense of what you need to do to enjoy it. The first thing that you should do is to throw away all of your guns, so you won't be tempted to use them.
When you get a handle on the game's stealth, the speed function and switching around your powers in the middle of action, you'll start to wonder why you ever bothered using guns at all. When killing Koreans, the fastest and most energy efficient way to deal with them is to pick them up, toss them, and then stealth again and go after the rest of them. Punching is fun, but it's also energy-expensive, so only do it when there are only a few enemies in front of you. Also, if you punch a human enemy when they aren't looking at you, it'll down them in a single hit.
