Grand Theft Auto IV - PC?

Grand Theft Auto IV might be coming to the PC, according to rumors that have been spreading around the gaming press. So far, there has been no confirmation from Rockstar or Take-Two as to whether or not the record breaking, critically acclaimed crime epic will be coming to the PC. Every other GTA release eventually made it to the PC with enhanced graphics and significant modification capability.

For those PC users that have been left out of the GTA craze that struck the gaming world after the release of the latest game, you can make up for it by grabbing the back catalog on Steam. You can get GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas as part of a package deal for a $29.99 digital download. These games have held up very well to the test of time, and look remarkably good at high resolutions. If you've never played them before, it's a great time to catch up on them in preparation for the almost certain eventual release of GTA4 on the PC.

You can use a gamepad to control it or a combination of the keyboard and mouse. Because you can use the mouse to aim and shoot, it makes it far easier to cause mayhem on the PC than it is on the PS2 or Xbox. You can also pump up the draw distance far farther than you can on the consoles, making it overall a far better gaming experience on the PC than on any other platform.
