Mario is a Nintendo legend that everyone loves to play. Now you can get the best of Mario in the new Super Mario Galaxy game for the Wii. In this game the princess, Peach has been kidnapped. Instead of fighting through dungeons to get to the princess, this time you will have to go through space. That is where she and her castle have been taken to. Here, Mario meets new villains, flies through space, and uses new fighting skills. Mario also needs to collect stars on his way to get the princess.

Playing this game is definitely different, considering it is played in 3D. You can use different moves with the Wii hand controller and the nunchucks. New moves are invented by just a shake of the remote. Mario can spin, shoot stars, and even throw star rings. A lot of the moves originally came from Super Mario 64 like the wall jump and the long jump.

The game was released in the USA in the year of 2007. Ever since then it has won many game of the year awards. In March of 2008 over 6 million copies of the game were sold. The game is also the third best selling game made by Nintendo. Critics have rated the game any where from 95 to 100. With this game being rated E it can a be a game that everyone in the family can always enjoy. Mario went from castles to racing cars and then to space. Where will he end up next?
