Heroes Are All Gone in "No More Heroes"

Looking to end those boring summer blues? Nothing works better to pass the otherwise boring summer days like video games. With the press of a button, you become submerged in a world of your own and fight bad guys, rescue princesses, make a lot of money quick and other things you don’t typically do in real life.

Summertime means hot summer game releases for Wii, Playstation and XBox alike. Every year games are improved or expanded to make the experience more enjoyable. One example is “No More Heroes” released on December 6, 2007 for the Wii game console.

This game deals with Travis Touchdown, the stereotypical anime- and manga-obsessed teen. His obsession for video games and wrestling videos is so great that he’ll literally kill for them. It is this quality that leads him to accept a job to kill Helter Skelter, and, in so doing, be ranked #11 by the United Assassins Association. When he realizes he’s close to becoming the #1 assassin, he sets out to kill the top 10 and earn his spot as #1.

“No More Heroes” has a free-roaming world and is open-ended, which means you can take your time in getting rid of the top 10 assassins. There are also several side jobs you can take on to earn money for clothes, video games and other things.

The object of the game is to get rid of the 10 assassins. The storyline will not progress until you start completing missions, which will narrow down the list. No More Heroes is available wherever video games are sold for a base price of $30.
