Super Mario Galaxy

Super Mario Galaxy is nothing like the old Mario. This Mario is in outer space (what did you expect for this century) and as he goes from galaxy to galaxy, he collects Power Stars by doing certain tasks and beating the enemies he meets on each galaxy.

Every galaxy has a certain number of planets with places and things to be explored by the player. The player is able to move in any direction (walk sideways, upside down, and even be able to go around all kinds of shaped surfaces.) "Like walking on the moon."

You start out with a few galaxies and as you have Mario get more Power Stars more galaxies are open to you. They are entered by different ways. When you get 120 Power Stars you have the chance to play through again as Luigi. You have to get 120 Power Stars for Mario and Luigi then he is able to go to The Grand Finale Galaxy. Here you can get a total of 242 and you get to post 2 photos' to the Wii Message Board. There are 5 tricky comets that keep showing up to challenge you. Speedy Comet has you replay a previous level in a limited time. Daredevil has you replay in the Melten Galaxy and you must finish without getting hit. Cosmic has you race a short cosmic course. The Fast Foe doubles the speed of the enemies. The Purple Comet gives 150 purple coins over the galaxies for you to collect.
