Super Mario Galaxy is Out Of This World Fun

Attention Mario game lovers! There is a 3D outer space game with your favorite well known Nintendo characters like the Princess, the Brothers Mario and Luigi and that infamous villain Bowser. In this version of the long popular Mario Brothers games, the damsel in distress is taken to the galaxy of stars and planets.

It all begins in the Comet Observatory consisting of six themed domes which access different galaxies. At first the player is limited to a few areas but can enter more by collecting Power Stars after completing quests and defeating enemies as your character travels from galaxy to galaxy using the Wii remote and nunchuk.

Each galaxy contains other planets and space matter for the player to explore through moving around irregular, rounded surfaces by walking sideways or even upside down. This type of game play can be updated through a variety of gravity effects and the ever classic Power Ups. A total of eight, the most available ever in the series so far, allow Mario and Luigi to move through obstacles, fly, and run and jump faster and even induce invincibility. The classics are still there like the Fire Flower who now has an opposite, the Ice Flower. Don't be fooled though. The Invincibility power up is only temporary and Mario and Luigi will need to collect 1-UP Mushrooms and either 50 coins or Star Bits to earn extra lives.

With co-operative two player option, forty-two galaxies to explore, special challenges and new Power-Ups this game provides long lasting game play to keep players interested.
