The powerhouse video game series Madden football is back for its 20th anniversary in Madden 2009. The new game comes with 85 new features and enhancements to improve game play for players of all skill levels. The new 5-on-5 player mode includes a reduced field length and allows the players to be big name NFL football players.
One new feature in Madden 2009 that is highly anticipated is the virtual trainer. This feature offers 12 mini-game simulations that measures the player’s Madden IQ. The virtual trainer then allows the game to adjust the settings and level of difficulty to the level of the player’s Madden IQ. The better the player’s IQ the harder the game play will become. The game will continuously adjust to the player’s play style by measuring the player’s strengths and weaknesses.
Another new feature is the Madden Moments. This feature allows the player to replay historic moments in the NFL through historic plays, quarters, and entire games. This is very exciting news for the hardcore NFL fan.
The animations in the game have also greatly improved. The players, weather, and even the blades of grass are more realistic.
There is even a collector’s edition that is going to be released with extra goodies for those who purchase it. The collector’s edition of Madden 2009 will be bundled with NFL Head Coach 2009, the 1993 Sega Genesis version of the game, classic playbooks and plays from previous Madden games, video content from the NFL archives, among other extras.
No matter which version you chose to get there is many improved and new features that makes game play fun for everyone.
