Some of the features that fans of Madden NFL 09 like are the five-on-five option. This option is fast-paced with a smaller playing field. The action is in your face and exciting to play.

The game still has you calling the plays from three different playbooks. These playbooks rank from easy to advanced. The game also helps newcomers learn the game by including the option to analyze your defensive plays after you make them.

The tackling system is more sophisticated. You can make some incredible game-changing tackles on the defense. What game of football would be complete without a victory dance. In this version, you can create a victory dance.

The Madden NFL 09 video game is as good, if not a little better, than the previous 19 editions.
