Rockstar North has done an impeccable job with its latest installment and much talked about game since Grand Theft Auto III. Grand Theft Auto IV is a fourth generation game that has pushed the limit of realism for today's current gaming technology. Its debut on April 29, 2008, broke record sales of 3.6 million units totaling $500 million dollars. The game itself has raised many controversial issues, just as its predecessors, in terms of influencing crimes in the real world. For example, some teens in New York were arrested for assaulting and robbing people, like in the game. Despite such incidents, the game is to be released in Japan by 10/30/2008, along with a Windows version by November 18th and 21st to the US, Australia, and Europe respectively.
The star character is Niko Bellic, a Bosnian War Veteran, who is a killing machine with many talents. Persuaded by his cousin Roman to go to Liberty City to achieve the American Dream, all he got when he arrived was a life of crime and more mayhem.
This Liberty City is not like any other virtual cities you've seen before. You have virtual people that you interact with by becoming friends or enemies. You have an Internet Cafe to do web surfing, get dates, and anything you can find in real life. You can take on any mission you want in single mode play or join in a multi-player game online.
With rating scores as high as a ten, you can't go wrong with this game whether it is for PS3, XBOX 360, or PC. You will be amazed at its realistic graphics, new features, various game modes, and the incredible game play it has in store for you.
