Resistance 2

Scheduled for a November 2008 release, Resistance 2 is a war game where the United States gets invaded by the Chimera. Chosen to fight fight for the U.S. is Nathan Hale, who joined a task force called "the Sentinels," put together very carefully by the Special Research Project Administration (SRPA). Together, they will use the intensely trained sentinels, the SRPA's immunity to the Chimera virus as well as Nathan Hales inability to be reinfected to defeat the Chimera.

The game will be compatible for up to eight co-operative online players, multiplayer battles for up to 60 people, single player, or two player split-screen. As the player progresses in the game, they will be able to unlock weapons, new characters, as well as clothing. This will not be an easy task because trying to get in your way will be the bosses, Chimeran ememies, including 12 new ones. There will be old and new weapons to help you defeat your enemies including, the Rossmore 236, the L23 Fareye, etc. One possible favorite that will not be back for a round two is the XR-005 Hailstorm. Although this may disappoint some people, there will be plenty more weapons to try and defeat the Chimeran transports, fleet of battleships, and soldiers on both East and West coasts of the U.S.

People seem to be exited in anticipation for the release of Resistance 2. As it shows on the comments about the game on www.gamespot.com, people seem to be in disbelief on the capabilities that this game will have. The creators of this game should feel a sense of pride seeing that PlayStation lovers as well as Resistance lovers are very pleased with just the idea of the game months before its release to it's North American fans.
