Developed by Rockstar North and released in April of 2008, Grand Theft Auto IV is the ninth game in the Grand Theft Auto series. Grand Theft Auto IV was released for the PlayStation 3 as well as the Xbox 360. There will be a Windows version of the game released in America in 2008. Grand Theft Auto IV is a mature rated game, to purchase it, you need to 18 or older. This is not a game for younger children. It gives them a false idea of violence and what is really taking place. Grand Theft Auto IV takes place in Liberty City in New York. The main character is named Niko Bellic. Niko is an Eastern European war veteran who has come to America to find his dream.

This game also supports multiplayer gameplay with up to 14 people. This game, according to Gamespot.com, received a perfect 10. Even though the story line can be beaten in less than 30 hours, with all the other missions that you can do, it could feasibly take much longer. The added features in the game include, but are not limited to, scaling fences and walls, shimmering along ledges, and a cover system for shooting. The gun play in this version far supersedes the other versions of Grand Theft Auto.

With over 40 missions to choose from, you are bound to make commit crimes. When you commit a crime, you get a star rating between one and six stars.
