Grand Theft Auto IV

Grand Theft Auto IV is a sandbox action game for the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360. Unlike previous installments of the series, 16 players can now play the game online. However, as always, the focus of the game is still on its single-player mode. GTA IV has garnered excellent reviews from critics everywhere. However, it is worth nothing that the game is rated M for mature, which means it is inappropriate for players under age eighteen. The fourth installment in this popular series was developed by Rockstar North and published by its parent company, Rockstar Games.

GTA IV begins with the main character, Niko Bellic, being told by his cousin Roman that he should to go to the United States for a better way of life. Besides Niko there are eleven other primary characters in the game. Niko comes to America to find a better way of life. He lands at Liberty City (a caricature of New York City). From there, he must build up his reputation and money by performing tasks for others. Through these things, Niko can earn more money and a better reputation to become powerful in the crime world of Liberty City.

One thing that has always attracted people in the Grand Theft Auto series of games is the large number of vehicles available to the player. In this respect, GTA IV will not disappoint. Cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, and even helicopters are all yours for the taking. They can be driven around the city and are often even used to complete the missions given to Niko. If you are looking for an exciting game with plenty of action and variety, Grand Theft Auto IV is one of the best to come out in recent years.
