Crysis

Released in November 2007 and marketed by Electronic Arts, Crysis is the first installment of a trilogy like no other. You get to play Jake Dunn, a Delta Force operator, in this single player strategy game. He goes by the name Nomad and has some truly power packed weapons. Unlike most shooter games, this one depends more on your brains than your brawn. With four different locations, it tests your strategic skills and ability to out-think your enemy.

One fact that makes this game so good is the fact that you have many ways to reach your goal. Unlike most games that stream along a set line, Crysis allows you to choose the route you want to take. With options ranging from multiplayer to deathmatch, you will be sorely tested to survive. An enemy who is controlled by advanced AI Technology (Artificial Intelligence), Zero Gravity encounters and online engagements with up to 32 players, make this much more than just a game. Before you run out and get a copy, though, make sure you check the system requirements, as this monster has some hefty overhead. But when you consider the advanced physics used in the game, and the fact that your enemy is most likely smarter than you are, this is to be expected.

The game is rated M for Mature due to graphic violence. It has been designed to bring a real world experience to the player, and because of this it is not really suited for children.
