Left 4 Dead

Created by Turtle Rock Studios, Left 4 Dead is a first person shooter perspective game in which up to eight players can cooperate to negotiate through the game’s modern day survival-horror setting. The game offers enemies that are the always popular blood sucking zombies and mutants who try to destroy you at every turn.

The zombies and mutants are the unlucky human victims of an insane strain of rabies. As with many stories like this one, a few lucky humans don’t get the disease and are left to figure out what happened and how to handle the hoards of icky monsters who used to be their neighbors and friends. Unfortunately, as a survivor, you are stock in the city with the zombies.

Players can choose whether they want to play as a lucky survivor or as a boss infected who possesses a unique mutant ability. The game setting offers four huge campaigns to navigate through and conquer. Left 4 Dead is unique because it has an AI director built in who monitors the human game play and choreographs the zombie population to react accordingly. Although the game can be played by a single player, the design and truly suppressive amount of bad guys leads players to join together to play in order to have a chance at winning. The game offers excellent graphics and the unique approach of an AI Director while giving gamers who may be a bit old school, the look and feel of their beloved zombies and mutants.
