Popular PS3 Games

The 2008 year is well over, but a few of the games from the past year keep showing up on the current most popular list. Two of the most popular games of last year that are still mega hits are Grand Auto Theft IV and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Grand Auto Theft IV is a game that was released April, 2008. In multiplayer mode, up to 16 players can wreak havoc across Liberty City, a violent underworld of comical and sinister situations and characters.

The controls are a lot easier than other Grand Auto Theft games. Metal Gear Solid 4 was released June, 2008, but still remains as one of the most technologically savvy game created. As with most upgraded versions of an older series, MGS4 has better stories and increased control, especially with hand to hand battle capabilities. It also has a whole new series of gadgets and types of hiding places that make this game a must play.

Unlike the two "Mature” rated games listed so far, Little Big Planet is rated “E” for "Everyone” and is also one of the most popular games on the PS3. This game, released in October, is a multiplayer game. The excitement of the game is that you can use your imagination and creativity to build up your own unique playing arena. Another aspect to this game is that it can be replayed over and over with all new activities. These are just three of the most popular games for PS3. You can look forward to new hit games in 2009 games but don't count out the 2008 games just yet.
