The World Ends With You for the DS

In the world of the Nintendo DS, there is a game that has been taking control of a young man’s destiny and bringing it to an end. "The World Ends With You" is an RPG with some action/fighting thrown into it. This game was designed by Team Jupiter, the people that made Kingdom Hearts, and their goal was to change the way that we look at hand held RPGs. What you get from this is a highly developed and well received game that is taking the nation by storm. The critics have given this game a nine out of ten; talk about impressed!

The story is set in modern day Japan, and better yet, Shibuya District, Tokyo. This game follows a teenager named Neku who (like in most RPGs) wakes up in a weird place - the streets. Soon he finds a text message on his phone saying something about being involved in "The Game" and that he only has a few minutes left to live. Due to the way that this world works, Neku has to take orders and he and his partner must complete them or they will not get their lives back.

Now that you got this far, here are some interesting extra features that bring this game to life in such a way that you will want to play forever. For starters, the game, as you know, is split on the two screens of the DS. You control Neku’s partner on the top screen using the d-pad and putting in all sorts of different controls, while below, you control Neku with the stylus. One of the great features is the pin system. You get different pins and can place them in different slots and make them battle harden for different combination attacks.
