Football fans across the U.S. are awaiting the release of the Madden NFL 9. Its release date is August 12, 2009 and there is a game to fit all the latest platforms like the xbox 360, playstation 3, playstation 2, Nintendo, and the Wii. The stores where the game can be bought is in most department stores including Best Buy and Circuit City. Some of the coolest features are the new EA Sports Back Track and Rewind, the new network-inspired Beyond Broadcast Presentation with in-booth color and a play-by-play, but the best feature by far is the 32 teams online leagues that feature stats tracking and flex scheduling so that players won't miss any games during the Madden's 2009 season.

Madden NFL 9 has won the Cheat Code Central's Best Sports Game of the year winning its 2nd Cody Award. Some of the other nominees were FIFA Soccer 09, MLB Power Pros 2008, NBA 2K9, NHL09, and the Hot Shots of Golf. This is the 20th year for the Madden Franchise and the one complaint about the game is that there weren't enough significant improvements from the previous year. But still many believe the game to be an amazing football simulation giving the feel of being part of the actual game.

This series has spot on play calling with real like stadiums and game play that couldn't be more realistic. Replacing the classic Madden Cameras with the ActionCam helps keep the focus on the most important players in the game. The My Skill ability is the tool that will help players adjust and improve their game play. Players can get frustrated with this feature, but one capability of it is customizing their own difficulty setting.
