Patapon for PSP

The Patapon have been defeated and enslaved by the evil Zigoton tribe. It is now up to you to help lead these strange, miniature tribal creatures back to victory, as well as freedom from the oppressive Zigoton. The Patapon are a tribe of small, roundish creatures with white and black eyes and are actually quite peaceful. The Zigotons are a tribe of slightly squarish creatures with red and black eyes; eyes that reflect the darkness in their hearts. The player will assume the role of the Patapon's god and will use the sacred talking war drums in order to direct and control, as well as command, the Patapon.

The Patapon will face many dangerous and deadly creatures in their journeys. The Zigotons are of course one of the enemies that the Patapon will encounter. There are also guardian creatures including dragons, giant worms, golems and the ultimate evil, known only as Gorl. Patapon troops include banner carriers, spear throwers, axe and mace wielding Patapons, as well as archers, cavalry and horn playing Patapon, that use a massive horn as their weapon. Between missions, new troops can be spawned in order to replenish the ranks or add to your fighting force. The player can also edit their troops formations and acquire new weapons for battle.

The ultimate goal in the game is to survive the long and treacherous journey to Earthend, where the Patapon will find the sacred object known only as IT. The purpose and appearance of IT is unknown, but the Patapon are sure that this is what must be done to save their race.
