Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for PSP

“Crisis Core” is a role-playing game that takes place prior to the events of “Final Fantasy VII.”

You control Zack Fair. As you journey through the Wutai War, you will encounter many characters from “Final Fantasy VII.” Although the game is a component of the "Compilation of Final Fantasy VII,” it can be played as a stand-alone game. “Crisis Core” is a very well thought out story line, allowing the player to experience the trials of the characters. The interaction between the characters makes this game both lively and entertaining. With random battles and humorous dialogue, you will be wondering if you should laugh or cry. As you play, you will see the way points are used. You will also have to plan ahead as you cannot take everything with you. Choose your supplies wisely as you may discover that potion you left behind is really kind of important. “Crisis Core” is the story of a young SOLDIER 2nd Class and his ultimate goal is to reach the respected rank of SOLDIER 1st Class. Along the way he will encounter challenges, meet people who will forever change his life and face a fate few should ever have to face. He must discover what happened to the missing SOLDIER operatives and what secrets are being concealed. Square Enix has done an impressive job with this game and with Zack. The game play is outstanding and the conflicts with both enemies and companions are well done and creative.

If you have played “Final Fantasy VII,” the ending will not be a big surprise, but you may be surprised at the way you feel when you get there.
