You are Nomad and your mission is to investigate the discovery of an alien artifact found underground near the Philippines.
The artifact is not built by man and is much older than the human race. Of course, you start out with a really cool, high-tech super suit. It comes with some really neat stuff that just might help you stay alive. Along your journey, you have the chance to find all kinds of guns; you may even find a nuclear grenade launcher. “Crysis” utilizes a very advanced AI, allowing the enemy to seem almost real. The AI in this game is so advanced that you can actually sneak up on the enemy and catch them sleeping. The game offers both single and multi-player modes and gives you the chance to challenge an opponent head-to-head. In the multi-player mode you compete against another team for points and you can use these to get all kinds of neat upgrades. The overhead for this game is a bit high but not out of the ballpark for most gamers. EA does offer something called “Crysis PC.” It is a system designed specifically for “Crysis.” Unlike most shooters, Crytek decided to create the story then the game with “Crysis.” This gives the game a much richer plot line then most games of this type. The standard alien invasion, end of man plot is evident here, but the difference is the way you can venture through the game. The programming allows you to have a completely different experience every time you play.
“Crysis” for PC is a basic first person shooter, but with a very big difference. State of the art programming and the use of an advanced artificial intelligence engine ensures you a challenge not seen before.
